Does tolerance mean that we
MUST buy whatever a salesman wants to sell?
Does it mean that a salesman has to accept old Credit Cards and
Monopoly money as payment? Does
it mean throwing away our freedoms in order to conform to what liberal
activists think is right? Does
it mean checking our morals and beliefs at the door of all public discourse?
Some
people assert that all choices are equal, and that there is no right or wrong,
or absolute truth, and that everything is relative except their beliefs.
They also assert that to have beliefs that are different from theirs is
“hateful,” or motivated by hate.
So with these things in mind let’s take a look at some other groups
of people to see how tolerant they are and how much harassment they get from
the Christ-hating media.
Buddhists
are intolerant of our copyright laws, and they mass-produce our music, movies,
and computer software, while paying the owners and creators nothing.
They also work their people 12-hours a day, six days a week, and pay
them 40-50 cents an hour wages, and they receive virtually no harassment from
the media for doing so.
Atheists
are intolerant of public debate and criticism of their beliefs with
regard to how they think we got here, and they see nothing wrong with forcing their
beliefs on our Children with our Tax Dollars while keeping a
tight stranglehold on what is taught in our public schools and
universities. They claim to be truth seekers, but are intolerant of public
debate, and they receive virtually no criticism or harassment from the media
for doing so.
Muslims
are intolerant of “infidels,” yet tolerant of teaching followers how to
make bombs in order that they might blow up infidels and thus assure
themselves a place in heaven, and they receive virtually no harassment from
the media for doing so.
Liberal
elites want to abolish our
freedom of speech, so they target only radio with their so-called “fairness
doctrine.” However, if they
were truly concerned with fairness, they would insist on live televised debates between Creationists and Evolutionists, and
many other issues. Instead
they censor Creationists and are intolerant of televised debates, and they
receive virtually no harassment from the media for doing so.
Christians
are taught to love their enemies and pray for them, yet they are said to be hateful because they recognize that everyone has a Mother and a
Father, or a Mother and a “sperm donor,” and because they believe that God intended sex
to be between a man and woman who are married.
Some people think
that seeking and serving their Creator will bring misery.
They claim that God doesn’t even exist, or that He has faults and is
therefore not good enough for them. They become their own god, and thus excuse themselves from
God's invitation to His Eternal kingdom: Luke 14:16-23; 19:11-27.: Luke
